Ron's Story
1st grade: Hillview Crest - Miss Coyne
2G: Cabello (portable building behind Searles) - Mrs. Bolin
3G: same as 2G - Mrs. Wright
4G: Cabello (new school opened on Dyer/Regents) - Mr. Wong. Very memorable teacher, big positive impression.
5G: Alarado Middle - Ms. Ortiz. Memorable field trips to San Francisco (Exploratorium and China Town)
6G: Alvarado Middle - Mr. Gonzalez / Mrs. King. Incredible fond memories of playing lunchtime sports with a great bunch of characters. Perhaps my favorite year in school.
7G-8G: various classes/teachers. Biggest impact were probably Mr. Bonvicino (algebra) and Mr. Ambrosi (social studies)
9-12G: James Logan High - Lots of struggles, both academically and, especially, socially. Perhaps the result of my father's death in 1979. Very forgettable years.
Moved to Modesto following high school graduation. Still residing in Modesto. (2016)

my life.
Met the love of my life in 1995. Her name was Samantha and I loved her unconditionally. She passed away in '97 and I've had little desire to search for love since.
I've worked in the grocery industry since 1996 (Save Mart). No complaints.
In 2007 I lost a very dear friend from my school days, Jenny Edmonds. We grew up around the corner from each other and our mothers regularly talked neighborhood gossip. Went through K-12 together. Lost contact after high school graduation, re-established friendship in 2002. We loved to talk and reminisce. We laughed together, we cried together.
At the time of her passing she had been married 18 years and left behind two daughters (aged 5 and 3.5). At her parents' request I was honored to be one of her pallbearers. Toughest day of my life.
Please don't hesitate to message me if you so feel inclined. Even if we never met in school and I may or may not remember you we may have similar memories of various experiences, field trips, classmates and/or teachers. Lots to topics to build friendships on.
